DoMor R600c

Aggregate Base Spreader for Dozers & Wheel Loaders

The R600c spreads road base 10½ to 16 feet wide and 2 to 22 inches deep in a single pass, with hydraulic control of each side of the moldboard for exact depth and crown. Trucks dump straight into it, it hooks to your dozer or loader in about 20 minutes, and it’s built in Eureka, Illinois, USA.

How it works

The “Rock Box” that lays base right the first time

Instead of dumping piles and blading them out, the R600c meters aggregate into an even lift as you push. Fewer passes, fewer people on the ground, and a consistent base from start to finish.

1

Hook it up

Attach the R600c to a bulldozer or wheel loader of 125 HP or more. It uses your existing machine and goes on in about 20 minutes.

2

Dump into the box

Tandem trucks, up to mid-size off-road trucks, back up and dump directly into the R600c. No windrows or piles to chase.

3

Set depth and crown

The self-contained hydraulic system sets each side of the moldboard independently, so you hit exact depth and the crown you want, anywhere from 10½ to 16 ft wide.

4

Push and spread

Push forward and the R600c lays a uniform lift from 2″ to 22″ deep, ready for compaction.

Why contractors use it

Lower spreading costs, better base

Since 1959, the R600c has helped contractors and municipalities cut aggregate spreading expenses, win more bids and deliver better results in less time.

Less material lost

Aggregate goes where you set it instead of being pushed off the edges, so you buy and haul less stone for the same job.

No segregation

Material is laid down evenly instead of being bladed out of piles, which keeps fines and coarse stone mixed for a stronger base.

Holds moisture content

Base goes down fast in one even lift, so the moisture content you need for compaction stays in the material.

Two ways to crown

Set each side of the moldboard independently to build the crown into the road as you spread.

Fewer laborers

The machine does the metering and leveling, so you need fewer people on the ground than conventional spreading methods.

Built to last

Heavy plate and tube construction with minimal maintenance, built for years of base spreading service.

R600c add-on

R600c Fabric Spreader Attachment

Let the machine handle the fabric instead of a hand crew. The Fabric Spreader pins onto your R600c where the wheel assembly mounts, and the wheel assembly moves to the front of the spreader. From there the R600c works just like the original, cutting labor and job prep.

Questions

Aggregate spreader FAQ

What machine do I need to run an R600c?

A bulldozer or wheel loader with at least 125 horsepower. The R600c attaches to your existing machine in about 20 minutes.

How wide and how deep can it spread?

The R600c spreads base material from 10½ to 16 feet wide and from 2 to 22 inches deep.

What trucks can dump into it?

Tandem dump trucks, up to mid-size off-road trucks, dump directly into the R600c.

Can the R600c crown a road?

Yes. The self-contained hydraulic system sets each side of the moldboard independently, giving you two ways to build crown into the road as you spread.

What kinds of projects is it used on?

Levees, airport runways, rural roads, highways and any job that needs aggregate spread quickly and evenly. The R600c has been specified by the Army Corps of Engineers.
